Nanjing University Wins Top National Teaching Achievement Award

Nanjing University is among the top winners of the nation's teaching achievement award for higher education with one Top Prize, one First Prize and five Second Prizes at the Conference to Celebrate the 30th Teachers’ Day and Honor Outstanding Groups and Individuals in the National Education System.

Among the prizes the Top Prize goes to the project on the building and practice of the student-centered “Three-Three System” of undergraduate education, led by Prof. Chen Jun, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Nanjing University. This is the first time in 20 years for a university in Jiangsu Province to win a top national teaching achievement award.

President of Nanjing University Chen Jun was received by General Secretary Xi Jinping of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. Vice Premier Liu Yandong presented the prize to President Chen Jun.
