Co-hosted by Communication University of China's (CUC) International Student Exchange Department and International Student Exchange Association, The 2015 New Year Gala for Chinese & Foreign Students of CUC was held in Lecture Hall for 1500 people on the evening of December 23, 2014. Vice president of the university Hu Zhengrong attended the gala on invitation. The party secretary of the Faculty of Literature and Law Sun Jie, vice dean of School of International Education in Chinese Zhang Jing, deputy director of International Department of Ritan Middle School Yang Caichun watched the gala show.

Vice president Hu wished happy new year and merry Christmas to the foreign students on behalf of the university in his greeting speech. Then he made a brief review of the development and current situation of CUC’s education of international students. Meanwhile, he hoped that more progress should be made about international students’ education of CUC in the future.

The theme of the evening party was Global family, Friendship in CUC. Foreign students from many countries and regions volunteered to act and perform. Canadian and Korean students gave an Egyptian dance with typical exotic amorous feelings. The heated Korean dance received countless applause from the audience. The newly written songs How many Years and Studying Abroad in CUC fully annotated CUC students’ talent in musical creation. Students from African countries gave audiences traditional African dance and popular dance, which brought the atmosphere to a climax. What’s more, a lucky draw was elaborately arranged during the evening party.

This evening party was the fourth one since the International Student Exchange Department (the Former School of International Education) was founded in 2010. Such an evening party or gala promoted the communication and friendship between Chinese and Foreign Students on the campus and reflected the achievements for international education in the university.
