On Sept. 26, the symposium “The Ethnic Path with Chinese Characteristics and Ethnic Studies in the New Era” and the conference “Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology at CASS” were held in Beijing. CASS President Xie Fuzhan sent a congratulatory letter. Fang Yong, Party secretary of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology presided over the opening ceremony.
