Forum promotes legalization of global data governance

The Forum of Legal Protection of Data in Cyberspace, as one of the sub-forums of the 6th World Internet Conference, was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, on Oct. 20. Centered on the theme of “Security and Development: Data Governance and the Rule of Law,” participants discussed ways to boost data protection, data security, and the modernization, informatization and legalization of internet governance. CASS Vice President Gao Peiyong attended the opening ceremony and made a keynote speech.
The forum was hosted by CASS and organized by the Institute of Law at CASS.
