2016 Fudan Management Forum held in Shanghai

Co-hosted by the Fudan Premium Management Fund and Fudan University, 2016 Fudan Management Forum was held in Shanghai on June 23, with the theme “Industrial Transformation and Enterprise Innovation.” Domestic and foreign scholars and delegates discussed prospective topics related to industrial and commercial management.

Participants agreed that the challenges of China’s development can be addressed only through industrial transformation, structural upgrading and innovation. Innovation and breakthroughs in management are vital to national development strategies and the effective management of enterprises, they said.

Rui Mingjie, a professor from Fudan University, said that industrial restructuring can be conducted at the enterprise level as well as through macroeconomic adjustments. Industrial chain governance can boost industrial restructuring. Enterprise innovation will promote upgrading and restructuring of industrial chains. In addition, enterprises should govern the industrial chain, changing organizations, Rui said.
