An exhibition themed “Maya: A Language of Beauty” was launched at the National Museum of China on November 14. Divided into four sections, namely “Beauty of Body,” “Beauty of Clothing,” “Beauty of Animals” and “Beauty of Gods,” the exhibition showcased 238 items from more than 20 Mexican museums and archaeological sites, representing the daily life of Mayans and revealing their connections with animals and gods.
