Postgraduate applicants continue to decrease

Postgraduate applicants queue to get into an examination hall at Peking University at 8am on December 28. The 2015 national postgraduate entrance examination started on December 27. According to data from the Ministry of Education, about 1.649 million students signed up for the examination this year, a decrease of 65,000 from 2014. The number of applicants has fallen for two consecutive years.
