The picture shows a three-sheep bronze wine-vessel that dates back to the Shang Dynasty (1350-1046 BC). A festive exhibition marking the Chinese Year of the Sheep kicked off in Beijing on Feb. 11 and will last until March 29. Sponsored by the Capital Museum, the exhibition aimed at introducing the cultural connotations of the sheep as part of the Chinese zodiac by showcasing 85 exquisite cultural relics related to “sheep.”
