Under leadership of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, China’s Development Research Center of the State Council, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Fudan University jointly launched a “One Belt, One Road” think-tank alliance council in Beijing on April 8. The membership of the alliance council is also available to overseas institutes to promote the “Silk Road spirit” of peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit, and enhance cooperation between Asia, Europe and Africa. The council aims to increase people-to-people exchanges by jointly releasing reports by think tanks to promote better understanding of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and enhance friendship among people from different countries.
