The Strategic Interaction between “Abe Diplomacy”and“Abenomics”:Two Sides of A Coin

Abstract: Abe diplomacy and Abenomics are two sides of the same coin, with the former serves as the essence and prerequisite of the latter, and the latter as the ultimate strategic goal of the former. There is positive correlation between Abe diplomacy and Abenomics. Taking advantage of profound changes in East Asia and the rebalancing of United States in Asia, Japan attempts to make full use of its traditional geopolitical strategy and skillful diplomacy, and transform its unique geopolitical advantage into geo-economic superiority by causing new confrontation and conflict in order that the reemergence of Japan can be realized.
