Both the non-governmental, people-to-people communication and governmental communication between China and Japan constitute the whole history of Sino-Japanese Relations, which is over two thousand years. The people-to-people communication in modern Sino-Japanese Relations began earlier than the governmental communication, and has developed into various form and rich content and made enormous achievement. On the one hand, the people-to-people communication is greatly influenced by the governmental communication; on the other hand, the people-to-people communication can also work in a particular way to play an active role in promoting the official contacts between the two governments.
