China issues new opinions for teacher teams

Recently, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the “Opinions on comprehensively deepening the reform and construction of teacher teams in the new era” and the new guide document made a top-level design for the construction of teacher teams. Goals for the short and long term were set in the opinions. For example, after five years of hard work, it will basically complete the teacher education and training systems as well as the wage increase mechanism and payment guarantee mechanism, to build smooth career development channels, to widely establish teacher management systems combining finance and HR and decision-making in one seamless system, and to improve the occupational attractiveness of teaching profession.
