We should respect the diversity of civilizations and promote exchanges and dialogue among different civilizations for peaceful and harmonious coexistence, said CASS President Xie Fuzhan in his keynote speech delivered at the Forum on Mutual Learning Among Asian Civilizations and Building a Community of Shared Future for Mankind as part of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, which opened on May 15 in Beijing.

Building a community of shared future for mankind contributes to the development of global civilization. China actively participates in the progress toward an Asian community of shared destiny. Connectivity will provide more public products for Asia, Xie said.

Xie calls for deep exchanges and cooperation among think tanks in all countries to benefit the construction of a community of shared future for mankind. He suggested establishing close think-tank partnerships, promoting theoretical innovation and improving the international public opinion environment.
