Author :  Lǚ Wenkang Source : 2015-07-03
The China-South Asian Think Tank Forum was recently held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Experts agreed that substantial cooperation on the “One Belt, One Road” initiative is essential for China-South Asia relations. They noted that cooperation should concentrate on mechanism construction, tourism culture and industrial zones. Attendees proposed building the “China-South Asian Think-tank Network” at the forum, which has become an important platform for cooperation between the two sides. The forum was initiated to enhance the mutual understanding of Chinese and South Asian academic circles and discuss the future role of think-tanks in promoting bilateral and multilateral relations.
