Manchu Novels and Chinese Culture released

A forum on the release of the new book Manchu Novels and Chinese Culture was launched by Institute of Ethnic Literature of CASS and Social Sciences Academic Press (China) on June 11. It has been included in National Achievements Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences. The book examines the overall achievements of Manchu novel creation in the context of changes of ethnic cultures in Manchu history. It analyses the unique characteristics of Manchu novels and their presentation and implication in the whole development of Chinese literature and culture. It also probes into the relationship of Manchu novels and Chinese culture, employing a multi-disciplinary perspective and research method.
