Author  :       Source  :    Chinese Social Sciences Today     2014-10-30

The World Ancient Civilization Literature Database was launched at Northeast Normal University on September 24. The database includes more than 17,000 volumes of ancient civilization literature in English, German, French, Italian, Russian and other languages collected since the 1960s by Northeast Normal University, where the first Institute for the History of Ancient Civilizations was established in 1984.

Scholars of related academic disciplines can access original literature, books and other literature resources related to Assyriology, Egyptology, Byzantinistik and other branches of learning through the database. The database is open to the academic community and aims to be a world-renowned database specializing in ancient civilization.
